Support for Communities

Please pray for us as we meet with local pastors and Christian leaders in seeking to make a difference in Tondo. Because the need is so great in one of the poorest areas of Manila, we consistently run out of food within minutes. Our focus is to provide service through a one-day-a-week mobile Hope Alive ministry (basic health check-ups, providing medication, and basic dental services).

Our "Meal and Values" program serves and feeds over 30,000 weekly by the dedicated efforts of our local church leaders and pastors throughout the greater Manila area in some of the poorest barangays.

Our weekly youth and children’s worship and outreach events are led by Youth Ministries coordinators, as high school students meet Thursday night, junior high meets on Friday evenings, and our children's outreach (similar to VBS or Awana with more energy!) is held on Saturday mornings both Cainta and Tondo. There are also monthly evangelism trips to other parts of Luzon province and TayTay in our growing prison ministry, as well as in Mindoro and Leyte.

Our TayTay Prison Ministry is truly “up close and personal”.  It may seem dangerous to some because we are serving them porridge and eating and sharing together. However, because of our many trips – relationships continue to develop and we are able to share the gospel one-on-one with visiting teams.  The inmates are seeking peace and righteous living that can only come through the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ!
